Richard James MacCowan, designer, bio-futurist, and founder of Biomimicry Innovation Lab, will explore the cutting-edge field of biomimicry, examining how nature can inspire innovative and sustainable design solutions.
David Kirkland, award winning architect, teacher, and founder of Kirkland Fraser Moor Architects and D-Lab Studios (CIC), will draw on his extensive experience in regenerative design, exploring how we can create buildings and spaces that minimise harm but actively contribute to human flourishing and ecological regeneration
Danielle Purkiss - architect and materials researcher, Head of Research and Development at UCL’s Institute of Making and teaches about circular economy design in the UK and internationally.
Seetal Solanki - Founder Ma-tt-er, Author & Materials Translator. Seetal is also the author of Why Materials Matter, Responsible Design for a Better World and a Senior Research at ON ROAD.
Cíaran Malik - Regenerative Designer, Engineer & Teacher, His research is interested in design methods that reduce the climate, biodiversity and cultural impacts of building
Aaron Jones - doctorate researcher, product developer and educator working in a cross disciplinary function at UCL's Plastic Waste Innovation Hub

The conference is designed to provide a platform for architects, designers, and building professionals to come together and explore new ways of thinking about design, creativity, and sustainability. Attendees can look forward to engaging talks, interactive workshops, and networking opportunities.
The aim is to inspire attendees to think beyond traditional design constraints and consider how their work can contribute to the planet's and its inhabitants' health and well-being. By bringing together experts from across the fields of design, business, and sustainability, the conference will provide a platform for collaboration and innovation.
Proceeds from this event will be used to support the D-Lab Summer Schools and education programmes.
